Tommy Fleetwood dishes on his ridiculous Wikipedia photo, his god-like hair and why he’s inspired by Matt Fitzpatrick | Golf News and Tour Information

While Tommy Fleetwood was out to dinner with mates on Sunday night, he was a little bit consumed with his cellular phone. He was glued to the participate in-by-play on his cell phone, monitoring the final few holes of the last round and pulling for his fellow countryman and fellow Ryder Cupper Matt Fitzpatrick.

Immediately after dinner, Fleetwood re-viewed the clinching moment in which Fitzpatrick would become just the 3rd player from England to win the U.S. Open considering that 1925 (becoming a member of Justin Rose and Tony Jacklin). He liked viewing the emotion from his loved ones and pals.

“It’s often inspiring and excellent to see what joy that activity can deliver,” Fleetwood informed us on the Golf Digest “Be Right” podcast this 7 days, “and so it was fantastic to see Matt get it done.”

Fleetwood reviewed a bunch of topics in a huge-ranging job interview on this week’s episode, thanks to our pals at Tag Heuer, but most putting was how motivated he claimed he was following watching Fitzpatrick strike 17 of 18 greens in the last round—and produce clutch moments like the fairway-bunker shot on the 72nd gap.

“For me individually, just watching him, I love activity, I love golf. Seeing moments like he received to knowledge on the previous green, it was definitely, really amazing and I felt so content for him.”
