Inverness is a small town located in the north of Scotland and while there are not a lot of Inverness gay clubs the ones that are located in the town have fun, drinks and food. There are also many other bars and clubs frequented by the local gay community and all welcome visitors, with a friendly staff and plenty of fun for the evening.
There is Cactus Jak’s, this is located on 39 High Street and holds monthly specials on the first Tuesday each month. They also have dancers, party games and a bucking bronco. There is a dance floor with DJ’s and live entertainment on weekends. This is club has a lively atmosphere for the person visiting the town and Scotland is home to many gay clubs and friendly bars.
There is also the Station Hotel for drinks in the pub like atmosphere located next to the railway station. Bar Pivo located on Academy Street have drink specials, karaoke and live entertainment. There is Nico’s Bar/Bistro on Ness Bank, which has a full drink menu along with meals and appetizers in a bistro atmosphere where an evening out while in Inverness can be an enjoyable one.
There are other bars and clubs that have a friendly atmosphere and while not branded an Inverness gay club this is where many of the local gay community can be found for an evening out. These clubs offer live entertainment and dancing, along with drink specials and karaoke, with a friendly staff.
Inverness also is home for gay film festivals and the Highland Pride Ball, making this a town when visiting that is open and friendly in many of the clubs and bars.
