Barcelona’s Born neighborhood will be transformed into a foodstuff-lover’s paradise this weekend for Born Road Meals 2022.
Managing from June 17-19 at the Plaça Pla de Palau, the foodie pageant characteristics top rated chefs demonstrating off street food items from property and abroad.
There will be rice dishes from 1881 for every Sagardi, employing new fish from the Llotja de la Barceloneta sector, resourceful tapas by chef Dani Rueda from Tapeo, and Mexican tacos from Joan Bagur of Oaxaca Cuina Mexicana.
Cheese-lovers really should not miss out on Eva Vila’s create from La Teca de Vila Viniteca, there will be slow-cooked pulled pork from Oriol Rovira of Pork boig per tu, and new Japanese cafe Ikoya Izakaya, headed by chef Hideki Matsuhisa, can make its Born Avenue Food debut.
Through the weekend, chefs will give demonstrations on how to put together street dishes, accompanied by songs from regional DJs.
The food items competition, organized by Barcelona Born Gourmand, runs from 12 midday to midnight on Friday and Saturday and from 12 midday to 10pm on Sunday.
Tickets costing €3.50 can be acquired to exchange for foodstuff (2 tickets) and drinks (1 tickets), with a compulsory minimum acquire of 3 tickets. Progress scheduling is not essential.
